The Transgender Resource Center (TRC) embarked on its journey in 2015 with a humble beginning as a reading center. It quickly evolved to become a significant hub for resources, knowledge, and support for the transgender community in India. Officially registered in 2017, TRC has since grown into a prominent and pioneering institution.

What began as a small initiative has transformed into a comprehensive resource center that attracts students from various places and disciplines for internships, projects, and doctoral degrees. TRC is proud to be the first of its kind in India, setting a standard for similar centers nationwide.

National Transgender Anthem: TRC created history by producing the first national transgender anthem, a symbol of pride and solidarity within the community.
Transgender Film Festival: We have successfully organized the Transgender Film Festival for four consecutive years, providing a platform for transgender voices and stories through cinema.
