TRC possesses the first library in India exclusively for trans-studies. The library documents books about the community, research articles, research dissertations, documentary films, short films, newspaper clippings, oral history recordings, photographs, and journal articles.
The resources are open to access to all for reference and research.
IMPACT
The center and its library have drawn the attention of various schools and colleges in and around Tamil Nadu, which leads to good collaboration between colleges and the community.
In this year, the library has witnessed around 400 footfalls comprising of general visitors, students & researchers.
Around 10 Ph.D. research scholars from 5 various universities have benefitted from the center’s resource materials for their researches.
