Entrepreneur Development Program
- Through Priyadharshini Entrepreneur Development Scheme (PEDS), TRC has started the”Vaanavil” Dry Wash Unit in 2017 in order to motive transgender and women entrepreneurship. It took a good place this year with more orders and to ensure good livelihood.
- PEDS has also supported the small scale entrepreneurs who start their business.
IMPACT
- The unit has created an ambiance where all the genders can work together.
- The public started to acknowledge the steps taken by the community and understood the employment opportunities for the trans community beyond begging & sex work.
